"The Heron" is a fully air-conditioned, purpose built Precision vessel of aluminum construction. 53' or 16m in length, "The Heron" boasts two large entertaining zones, with the rear deck quite capable of acting as a dance floor. Powered by twin 480hp Detroit diesel engines, "The Heron"cruises at a service speed of 18 knots, with a top speed of 24 knots. With a range of 1,200 nautical miles, the vessel is highly stable, and passengers can rest assured of a safe and enjoyable trip, whether enjoying a casual day on the river or an active day in open seas. 

Licensed by the Department of Transport, to accommodate up to 44 passengers on the river, you can be assured that as a surveyed vessel your obligations as a hirer of the vessel are fully met. "The Heron" is fully equipped with the latest electronic technology. This equipment includes full Global Positioning plotting system, sounder and Radar. For your enjoyment, "The Heron" has a full range of Game Fishing Tackle, snorkeling equipment and BBQ facilities. The rear deck area has extensive canopies, providing that necessary protection from the Australian sun.  Sleeping configuration is one double cabin (2 pax), 1 v berth (2 pax), 1 double in saloon (sofa bed), and 1 or 2 doubles up on main deck (under cover).
