Northern & Central Peru Tours "Octopus Surf Tours"
Octopus Surf Tours operate year-round and covers a large geographical area spanning from Centinela, Bermejo, Chicama, and Pacasmayo in Central Peru to Bayovar, Lobitos, Cabo Blanco, Organos, and Mancora in the North (90% lefts throughout this region). This coastline is open to NW, W, SW and S swells offering incredible consistency throughout the year regardless of the season. Veteran Guides Marco "Pulpo" Ravizza (Octopus), and Miguel de la Rosa Toro (Magoo) have each over 20 years of experience surfing and tracking swells throughout Peru. Octopus Surf Tours permanent base is in the north at Organos near Mancora in Northern Peru, but also has land bases at Bayovar, Pacasmayo, Chicama, Bermejo & Centinela to chase the swells. The North swell season (Nov-Mar) features more wave density with the majority of the wave action occuring within a 1-3 hour driving window between Mancora and Bayovar, and this area also features Peru's most tropical and resort-like stretch of coastline around Mancora. The opposite South Swell season (Mar-Nov) features a lot of epic but remote left pointbreaks spread over 1000km of lunar-like coastline, so these tours involve more overland travel but offer up the goods if you are looking for uncrowded left points...
