TESTIMONIALS straight from the source...

Popoyo’s experience was unexpected, all employees, as well as, the staff over exceeded what past surf camp experiences have been.  Service is superior.

In terms of a hotel, good water quality (I never got sick), non-stop electricity, but most of all, excellent food, and plenty of it. ( Lots of fruit during boat days)

In terms of a surf camp, every morning at 5am our guide was at it,  taking us surfing. In small days they knew where to go and score perfect barrels (never smaller than 7 ft faces

Crowds - Out of the 8 spots we surfed, one spot was crowded and only after 2 hours of surfing.  Most of the time we surfed by our selves.

Boats - Excellent boats, well maintained engines, never a shortage of fuel, double layer canopy for superior weather (sun and rain) protection, and experienced crew in tides and surf destination.

Transportation - Excellent,  Excellent, Excellent 4 x 4’s, mine swam through rivers and climbed steep mud hills.

Wave Quality - Excellent,  Excellent, Excellent !!! All waves, long and short, they all had barrels, long and short.

Sincerely, Jorge Morales P.R.

Hey Henry,
I just wanted to drop a note to let you know what a great time I had at the Popoyo Surf Camp. Let me start with the surf, it was just as described on your website. Offshore everyday. Great barrels. Rippable pointbreak. And even though I missed the swell of the summer I did get to see video footage of the outer reef goin' off from some guys just leaving. The staff was unbelievable! Mike and John were always up for a good surf and would offer to do anything to make our experience better, plus they were very cool. Food was tasty. Accommodations were pleasant. Everything went perfectly. I'm goin' back !

Thanks,

Rowdy Justice

Henry,

We had a great trip to Nicaragua. It was overhead and offshore every day we were there. Thanks for hooking us up with a great trip! Hey, I was wondering if you could help me out getting frequent flyer credit for the TACA flight I took down there. I think they just need my American Airlines FF#: 892P6Y0. I tried to do it myself, but can't seem to find how to do this from their website. Is this something Wavehunters can help with? I saw your Salvador article in the TACA Magazine so I'm hoping you have a good connection over there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, check me out in the attached photo from the trip...

Thanks,
Bryan

J.J. and Kim,

After being back from staying with you about 2 weeks ago, I've had time to reflect on the trip. Our group of interesting characters: Steve, Jeff, Joe, Alex, John, Greg and me all had a great time. Your staff of John, Kevin and Mauricio took great care of us.

The surf was unreal, I gotta go back to Manzanillo. Thanks again for the stoke, you guys are doing something real special and I think the work and skill you bring the locals is great. Always had good food and the right attitute by everyone to ensure we had maximum stoke.

Thanks again!
Don Chelius
