08/06/2006 6-8 ft, occasional 10ft faces Evening glass off Henry with my final report from Las Flores. This morning started off clean with building swell but strong onshores by 900am. By 4pm the tide was draining out and the wind stopped, and the swell was peaking with 6-8 wave sets every 3-5 minutes. I have never seen Las FLores so consistent with so many waves coming through one after another. We had about 25 guys in the lineup at one point and could still not catch all the sets coming through there were probably 200 waves an hour. Mike Parsons claimed a few, returning to Las Flores for the second time in 6 weeks along with Dino Andino and the Billabong Surf Academy. (Sorry no more photos, I paddled out right after this and surfed to dark. Dino, thanks again for the ear plugs and that set wave you let me have).

08/04/2006 6-8, occasional 9-10 NO WIND ALL DAY All time classic day at Las Flores, sheet glass conditions. Flores, Mango, Vaca and Toro all firing with consistent 2-3 ft overhead sets, and occasional bigger ones. (sorry for delay posting this report due to internet outage). -Henry

Las Flores going off this morning on the new ground swell with sets every 5-10 minutes hitting 3 feet overhead and lining up for 200meters+. Lots of empty waves coming through and not crowded. No wind all morning, now light texture, 2-3 knot onshore. One boat at Punta Mango now, no report yet. Another great day at Las Flores!! Hasta luego.
