El Cuco Mangroves Kayaking Tour

The mangroves are considered among the richest ecosystems in our planet. The nutrient exchange in every tide makes these habitats very rich. You will see many small sealife, birds, reptiles, and many huge trees which with their unique root systems appear to be floating in the air. The tour through the local mangroves is scenic, offering a nice view of many different species of coastal and migratory birds. Take your binoculars if you can, you will enjoy up close many different species of exotic birds. The length of the tour is around 5 kms of paddling into the heart of the mangroves and out. It can last anywhere from 3 - 4 hours of soft mellow paddling.

Whether it's to relax, explore, or just to shoot great photos, this is a very popular tour and it's a must at some point of your journey. Discover one of the most beautiful regions in El Salvador when you kayak or cruise around Jiquilisco Bay. Seek and identify the intricate mangrove habitats and unveil great beaches so remote and pristine you’ll feel like civilization is a foreign concept. Jump aboard and enjoy a great kayaking/boating adventure you’ll never forget. We will visit and have privileged access to all of the Barilla's Marina facilities, including their complete restaurant menu. The length of the tour is around 7 kms of paddling into the heart of the mangroves and out. It can last anywhere from 1-5 hours of soft mellow paddling or you can choose to sit back, drink cold Pilseners aboard a pontoon vessel and enjoy the scenery while you cruise through Jiquilisco's marvelous waterways.
