Cameron - “Camerooooon” general manager; waiter in the restaurante; surf guide; all around nice guy. Graduated from college in Arizona 3 years ago, came down to work for a few months at Las Olas, and never left.

Kyle - “Hermosa Albatross” Surf guide; has been killing it lately as most improved local expatriate. A mellow, very nice guy will make sure you are surfing breaks which best fit your ability.

Lorena - “Mi amor” daily maid service; Hermosa native; she is responsible for the charming little touches in each room & making sure you have clean towels and sheets.

Carlos - “McGeever”; maintenance man, Jaco native and preacher at his local church.

Aaron -"Tuanis Mae" Vast knowledge of local breaks, culture and customs in and out of the water. Runs the office in the afternoon, stop by to chat and swap stories.

Enrique - “El Guarda” night guard; always good for a laugh and a “Pura Vida”; underground Salsa dancing champion at local Bar Palmareños.

Las Olas Retaurante staff:

Marlene - salonera (waitress); keeps your cup full of world famous Costa Rican coffee; serves up local dishes such as Gallo Pinto (rice & beans), huevos, panqueques & fruit smoothies. Represents Tica (Costa Rican) beauty and charm. (Marlene)

Marita - La Cocinera (the cook) makes sure your bellies are full of hearty Costa Rican cooking.

Juan Vega - Hermosa native who is in charge of dinners which include nightly specials like Langosta con Pasta (Lobster with pasta), Filet de Pargo (Red Snapper) and include the “Backside” burger.

“Chalo” - dinner server, a Jaco local, bilingual and always in good spirits.

“Pavones” - helping hand in the kitchen, quiet local from the south pacific region who kills it in the water!!!
